Important Update: Upcoming ELD Tablet Compatibility Changes

We appreciate your continued trust in our ELD services. To keep your fleet compliant and ensure uninterrupted service, we would like to let you know about important upcoming changes to tablet compatibility.

What’s Changing

Our ELD Complete software will soon no longer support tablets running Android 9 or older. If your devices run on these operating systems, they will stop receiving regulatory updates, putting your fleet at risk of non-compliance.

Key Deadlines for Replacement

To remain compliant, tablets must be replaced by the following dates:

  • MDT Tablets (Android OS 5) → Replace by October 26, 2025

  • Connect Tablets (Android OS 6) → Replace by January 2, 2026

  • Connect II Tablets (Android OS 9) → Replace by April 2, 2026

Your Options

  1. Purchase a Replacement Tablet

    • Contact us to order a supported device.

    • Please act quickly—inventory is limited.

  2. Switch to Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD)

    • Drivers can download our ELD app directly on a personal or company-issued phone/tablet.

    • BYOD is a cost-effective option that also reduces the number of devices your drivers need to carry.

Next Steps

  • Interested in BYOD? Follow the simple steps in this guide.

  • Prefer tablets? Reach us at 877-466-6577 or [email protected] to discuss pricing and next steps.

We encourage you to act soon to avoid service interruptions and stay compliant with ELD regulations.
