Our Legacy reports and New reports pull from the same underlying data — but the way you can set them up, filter them, and read the results is a noticeably different experience.
Legacy reports use a build-before-you-run model: you choose your columns and options upfront, then generate the output. New reports flip that around — reports run with everything included by default, and you filter down to what you need inside the report itself using Attributes. The result is a cleaner setup process and a more interactive output, especially for group-level views that Legacy doesn’t support at all.
Below are side-by-side examples across three report types — Activity Detail, Begin/End of Day, and Performance — so you can see exactly what that difference looks like in practice.
⚠️ Important deadline: Legacy versions of End of Life reports will be permanently archived after July 3, 2026. After that date, they cannot be run. Start getting familiar with the New versions now.
Activity Detail Report
The Activity Detail report shows all reported vehicle and driver locations over a selected time period. The New version expands on Legacy with two additional views — By Vehicle Group and By Driver Group — making it easier to analyze activity at an organizational level. The setup experience is also simpler in New reports: all available columns are included by default, so there’s no need to add them manually.

Begin/End of Day Report
The Begin/End of Day report shows the first start and last stop for any or all vehicles in your fleet. New reports add a By Driver Group view not available in Legacy, and the setup experience is cleaner with a built-in schedule toggle.

Performance Report
The Performance report gives an overview of vehicle performance across your fleet. The New version brings a more visual dashboard experience — with charts for days not reported, days stopped, and voltage — alongside the same underlying data. The setup is also simpler, as New reports no longer require manual addition of Diagnostics or Attribute columns.
