Idle Time Detail Report

Use this article to learn about the Idle Time Detail Report.

The Idle Time Detail Report shows individual idle stops for vehicles in your fleet and the approximate amount of fuel used while idling. This report can be filtered by vehicle/group/hierarchy, driver/group, date, minimum idle time, and timezone. You can optionally include columns for attribute(s).

Each column in the report is sortable by clicking on the column header. The GHG column shows estimated Greenhouse Gas emissions per idle stop. Totals for Duration, Lights On, True Idle, Idle Fuel, and GHG columns for the data source selected are provided at the bottom of the report.

Note: Hierarchy, Driver, and Attribute features are available for Enterprise customers only. If you are interested in learning more, please contact your Account Manager.

How to run the Idle Time Detail Report

Reports can be run, scheduled, and managed from the Reports page in the Portal. To run the Idle Time Detail Report, follow the below instructions.

  1. From the Alert Page, click New Alert.

  2. Use the Search field to type in "Idle Time Detail" or locate the report under Activity reports.

  3. Complete the following fields:

    1. Data Source

    2. Schedule Report (Toggle On/Off)

    3. Time Frame

    4. Email Report (Checkbox)

    5. Optional: Minimum Idle, Timezone, Attributes

  4. Click Run Report.
